Chocks away to the USA

Back to news list

Cardiff and Wales become even more connected to the US this weekend as seats become available on the new Aer Lingus flights from Cardiff to Dublin with faster, easier onward connections to the USA including New York (JFK), Boston, Chicago and Orlando.

Operated under the brand Aer Lingus Regional, the Dublin flights will now operate three times daily from Sunday – Friday and twice a day on Saturdays. Passengers connecting with transatlantic flights in Dublin will clear USA immigration making the journey shorter and easier than alternative flights from London or Bristol Airports.

It is estimated that passengers heading for New York can save five hours journey time on the route rather than travelling down the M4 to fly from London.

Aer Lingus will also operate a Cork service daily which means the airline will connect Ireland and Wales 52 times each week offering more frequent opportunities to reach Ireland for business or leisure.
