Cardiff Commitment – Work Experience is back!

Cardiff Commitment have launched their work experience “The What’s Next Award” programme, which is designed to make a positive impact on the next generation of professionals and shape the future by offering valuable work experience placements to students.

‘The What’s Next? Award’ empowers students to explore their career aspirations, build essential skills, and gain practical knowledge. These young talents are eager to learn, grow, and contribute the an organisation’s’ workplace.

The work experience placements will go ahead in July 2024, and will be offered to students from Cardiff West Community High School, Cantonian High School, and Ysgol Gyfun Gymraeg Glantaf.

By offering work experience placements, employers not only help these students make informed career choices but also create a win-win situation for their business or organisation.

Businesses and organisations benefits include:

  • Fresh Perspective: Students can bring innovative ideas and a fresh perspective to employers’ workplace;
  • Talent Pipeline: Identify potential future employees and contribute to talent pipeline;
  • Community Impact: Position companies as a community leader committed to nurturing talent and giving back.
